We believe that Scouting is an important part of the physical, mental, and spiritual development of our youth!

Our philosophy

We’re glad your family has joined Scouting, or is considering it. We hope you and your child will have a great adventure with Cub Scout Pack 113. Pack 113 has been meeting in Cincinnati, OH for several years and continues to thrive due to the dedication of its volunteer leaders and parents like you! We all believe that Scouting is an important part of the physical, mental, and spiritual development of our boys.

While requiring that its members acknowledge a fundamental belief in a supreme God, the Boy Scouts of America organization does not define the specifics of any particular religion except to  say that God must be the center of it. The BSA encourages its members to actively practice their own religious faith in worship of Him. Scouting is a non-denominational religious and educational institution and all faiths are welcome. Our Pack is an extension of the Family Ministry of the Hyde Park United Methodist Church (HPCUMC). You do not have to be a member of HPCUMC to join Pack 113. But if you do not currently have a church home, we encourage you to visit HPCUMC and we invite you to join in worshiping!
